Terms of Service

Agreement

These terms govern use of the Design Your Future (“DYF”) platform. DYF is provided to organizations under a separate agreement; those organizations enroll the participants and staff who use the service. By using DYF you agree to these terms.

Who may use DYF

Access is granted through an enrolling organization. Participants receive an invitation from their organization; the service is intended for the participants an organization enrolls — people at many stages of life, aged 14 and older — and the staff who guide them. You agree to use the service only for its intended purpose and to keep your account secure.

Our platform and intellectual property

The DYF platform — including its software, design, and the materials we provide — is owned by Design Your Future and is our intellectual property. No part of it may be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our prior written agreement.

Content

Content created in a journey — a participant's responses, a counselor's prepared materials, and uploaded meeting records — belongs to the participant and the enrolling organization. We use it to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided as-is

DYF supports counselors and the people they guide; it does not replace professional academic, career, or other advice. The service is provided on an “as available” basis while we continue to build it. We do not guarantee any academic, career, or admissions outcomes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Design Your Future is not liable for any decisions made based on our content or services, or for any damages arising from your use of them.
